About the Conference

Instructional Design & Delivery in collaboration with the Center for the Advancement of Faculty Excellence and the Faculty Senate’s Faculty Development Committee hosts an annual Teaching & Learning Conference for university faculty, staff and colleagues at regional higher education institutions. The goal of this conference is to bring together teacher-scholars across campus to share and discuss teaching innovations and best practices.

    • What: 15th Annual Teaching & Learning Conference
    • When: Friday, February 7, 2025
    • Time: 8:30 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
    • Where: Perdue Hall with select sessions in PH 156 available online via Zoom.
  • Call for Proposals

    A call for proposals is currently open for 20-minute sessions, 40-minute sessions, panel discussions,or poster presentations on a variety of themes related to the scholarship of teaching and learning. Potential topics include, but are not limited to:

    • Culturally responsive and anti-racist pedagogy
    • Current Trends (e.g. Artificial Intelligence)
    • General Education
    • Inclusive pedagogy (Diversity, Equity, and Belonging)
    • Innovative teaching strategies
    • Online, remote and hybrid learning best practices
    • Promoting student wellness and sense of mattering (e.g. pedagogical partnerships of students & instructors)
    • Strategies for Student Success
    • Trauma-informed pedagogy

    The deadline to submit your session proposal is Tuesday, December 10, 2024.

  • Registration is Now Open

    Registration is now open for the 15th Annual Teaching & Learning Conference . The schedule of sessions is currently available and all sessions in PH 156 will be streamed live via Zoom. Register for the conference by Tuesday, February 13!
