Writer, Artist, Environmentalist Fang Speaks at SU Wednesday, October 16
SALISBURY, MD---Writer, artist and environmentalist Clara Fang discusses “The Essential Role of the Arts for Sustainability” Wednesday, October 16, at ¾ÅÐãÖ±²¥.
Her presentation is 7 p.m. in Henson Hall Room 103.
Fang’s poetry manuscript Garden of Transgressions was a finalist for the Benjamin Saltman Poetry Award and the Jean Feldman Poetry Prize. Her work has been published in Poet Lore, Willow Review, Cold Mountain Review and Crab Creek Review, among others.
Holding a Master of Environmental Management from Yale University’s School of Forestry and Environmental Studies, she has worked with institutions and municipalities including Swarthmore College and the City of Albany, NY, to increase sustainability. Currently she is the sustainability manager for Towson University.
