SALISBURY, MD---¾ÅÐãÖ±²¥ Art Galleries presents the exhibit “Organic Space,” featuring new works in glass by artist Jon Rees, April 8-June 18 at its Downtown Campus.

Rees delivers an artist talk 5:30 p.m. Thursday, April 14. A reception is 5-8 p.m. April 15 during the ¾ÅÐãÖ±²¥ Arts & Entertainment District’s monthly 3rd Friday celebration.

Drawing upon his passion for and understanding of architecture, Rees explores the architectural language of form, space and light through sculpture. The forms in his work have direct relationships to specific architectural projects or philosophies. By giving these physical shape, he considers the relationship between art and architecture.

Gallery hours are noon-5 p.m. Wednesday-Friday, noon-4 p.m. Saturdays. Sponsored by SU Art Galleries, admission is free and the public is invited.
