Ribbon Cutting to Celebrate New Sea Gull Stadium Turf, Improvements September 2

SALISBURY, MD---The community is invited the join the ¾ÅÐãÖ±²¥ campus to celebrate the first game on Sea Gull Stadium’s new artificial turf and to see other improvements that have been made over the summer. The ribbon-cutting ceremony is 5:30 p.m. Friday, September 2.
“Sea Gull Stadium is one of the best facilities in all of Division III athletics, and the completion of the final improvements, new turf playing field and a new videoboard even further make this a unique venue,” said Dr. Gerry DiBartolo, SU interim athletics director. “Our student-athletes are proud and honored to be able to play in such an outstanding facility, and we thank everyone who had a hand in making this dream a reality.”
Afterward, the Sea Gull football team takes on Albright College (PA) to inaugurate its fall season. Admission is $7, $5 for alumni and non-SU students, $3 for children ages 5-12, free for children under 5. SU ID holders receive one ticket free. Parking will be in the East Campus parking garage, across the street.
