PACE, Environmental Studies Department, Chamber Partner for Wicomico Paddle Partnership River Cleanup Saturday, September 13

SALISBURY, MD---¾ÅÐãÖ±²¥’s Institute for Public Affairs and Civic Engagement (PACE) and Environmental Studies Department are teaming up with the ¾ÅÐãÖ±²¥ Area Chamber of Commerce and ¾ÅÐãÖ±²¥ and Wicomico County public works departments to clean up the Wicomico River.
Participants in the Wicomico Paddle Partnership River Cleanup will paddle the river via canoe and kayak from 2-4 p.m. Saturday, September 13, cleaning the waterway as they go. Watercraft will launch from the Riverside Boat Ramp at 538 Riverside Drive in ¾ÅÐãÖ±²¥. The cleanup concludes with a networking event at Brew River Restaurant beginning at 4 p.m.
