SALISBURY, MD---The ¾ÅÐãÖ±²¥ Art Department presents its 54th biannual senior art show, “Liminal,” in the University Gallery of Fulton Hall.
The fine arts portion of the show is April 11-23, with an awards reception 5-7 p.m. Friday, April 15. The graphic design portion is May 2-14, with an awards reception 5-7 p.m. Friday, May 6.
The fine arts exhibition includes works of a wide variety of media, from sculpture to photography to painting. The second features an assortment of graphic design including print, Web, posters, graphic art and more. These works represent a diverse group of artists and encourage the viewer to consider art from different perspectives.
The exhibition as a whole celebrates the “liminality” of the transitional period SU’s graduating seniors are experiencing. The artists invite their audience to experience this alongside them. The class hopes to communicate the ever-changing process of arts through the artists’ varied manners of style and craft.
Information on the students’ personal philosophies and images of their work are available online at www.liminalartshow.com.
Sponsored by the Art Department and Charles R. and Martha N. Fulton School of Liberal Arts, admission is free and the public is invited. Gallery hours are 10 a.m.-5 p.m. Monday-Thursday, noon-4 p.m. Friday-Saturday.
