SALISBURY, MD---Entrepreneurship research by Dr. Stephen Adams, professor of management in ¾ÅÐãÖ±²¥’s Franklin P. Perdue School of Business, recently was cited in The Economic Times.
Citing Adams’ work on the development of Silicon Valley, the article “For Europe to emulate Silicon Valley’s tech success, it should change its startup funding model” encourages international technology companies to change their business building approach to one more like the U.S. model.
The Economic Times (India), has the world's second largest circulation, behind only the Wall Street Journal, among English-language business newspapers.
The article shows how academic research can make an impact in real world thinking and action. For Adams, this has been a pattern. Not only has his work been mentioned in the New York Times, Marketplace and Bloomberg News, it also has been used by the World Bank in reports on East Asian economic development and as part of a U.S. State Department program to stimulate entrepreneurial activity in the Middle East and North Africa.
