Henson Seminar Featuring Dr. Stephen Godfrey April 1

SALISBURY, MD---Dr. Stephen Godfrey, curator of paleontology at the Calvert Marine Museum, discusses “Predation by Sharks in the Fossil Record” 4 p.m. Tuesday, April 1, in Room 243 of ¾ÅÐãÖ±²¥’s Henson Science Hall. 

    His lecture explores examples of active predation, scavenging and failed predation by sharks found in the Neogene fossil record. Godfrey discusses fossils showing a variety of trophic interactions between sharks and cetaceans, seals, crocodiles and other sharks.
