Nabb Center Exhibit Explores Strawberry Farming on Delmarva
SALISBURY, MD---¾ÅÐãÖ±²¥’s Edward H. Nabb Research Center for Delmarva History and Culture explores the history and legacy of strawberry farming in the region with the exhibition “From Patch to Plate: The Sweet Journey of Delmarva Strawberries,” opening Thursday, February 1, in the first-floor lobby of the Patricia R. Guerrieri Academic Commons.
The exhibit examines farming, labor history and the importance of the railroad in making this region the nation's strawberry capital in the early 20th century.
Admission is free and the public is invited. Those planning to park on campus must register in advance for a free parking pass.
