SU Faculty Discuss Middle East War November 7

SALISBURY, MD---Faculty in ¾ÅÐãÖ±²¥’s Political Science Department and International Studies Program discuss international tensions during the panel “War in the Middle East: How Did We Get Here, Where are We Now and What’s Next?” 7 p.m. Tuesday, November 7 in the Great Hall of Holloway Hall.
The experts discuss the historical roots of the Israeli-Palestinian conflict, the current war and its implications for U.S. foreign policy. They also speak on international law as it relates to the war between Hamas and Israel and possible paths toward peace.
Dr. Adam Hoffman (Political Science) moderates the panel, which includes Drs. Leonard Robinson (Political Science), Eric Rittinger (Political Science), Brittany Foutz (Conflict Analysis and Dispute Resolution) and Emin Lelic (History).
The panel will be discussing issues that some may find upsetting and/or controversial.
