SU Financial Aid Packages on the Way to Admitted Students

SU studentsSALISBURY, MD---Prospective ¾ÅÐãÖ±²¥ students soon will receive good news from SU as financial aid packages begin arriving in email inboxes this week.

“As part of SU’s mission to provide quality education at an affordable price, we want to make sure students are aware of the assistance for which they qualify,” said Allen Koehler, SU assistant vice president for enrollment management. “For students who have applied to SU and been admitted, but are not sure whether a college education is within their budget, these packages could make all the difference.”

Financial aid notifications will be sent to all qualifying admitted students who have submitted a 2022-23 Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) form. Those who have not may still do so, and include SU’s school code (002091) to determine if they qualify for federal financial aid. Maryland students should do so by March 1 to ensure they also qualify for consideration for state assistance. Students may view their financial aid packages in their admissions status portal.

Students who have been accepted to SU also are encouraged to attend one of this semester’s two Admitted Student Days on Saturdays, March 5 and April 9, to learn more about the University and its offerings. Registration is available through their admissions status portal.

The deposit deadline for fall 2022 admission to SU is Sunday, May 1.

Those with questions about financial aid packages should contact the Office of Financial Aid and Scholarships at 410-543-6165 or finaid@salisbury.edu.
