Important COVID-19 Information for SU Students

Dear SU Students,
As ¾ÅÐãÖ±²¥ continues its COVID-19 precautions, please note the following:
- On Friday, the University System of Maryland (USM) that COVID-19 vaccines will be required for students and employees at all USM institutions, including SU, for the fall semester. Students should set a target date of Tuesday, July 6, or sooner for receiving their first dose of the vaccine.
- Maryland college and university students will be given priority for vaccination at mass vaccination sites throughout the state. For site locations, dates and registration instructions, please visit /coronavirus/vaccine.aspx.
- Walk-up and scheduled COVID-19 vaccination appointments also remain available in ¾ÅÐãÖ±²¥ for all Maryland residents age 16 and older, including out-of-state students attending SU, through the and the .
- Starting the week of May 17, students and employees on campus will be required to receive an SU-administered test every 14 days to maintain access to campus buildings, classrooms and offices. Beginning that week, testing will be offered on Tuesdays and Thursdays only.
- SU students who are Pell Grant-eligible or have an expected family contribution (EFC) of $5,846 or less may be eligible to receive an additional financial assistance during the 2021-22 academic year. More information is available on the SU website.
