PRESTO Students Perform in Recital at SU December 14
SALISBURY, MD---Students taking lessons through ¾ÅÐãÖ±²¥’s PRESTO performing arts outreach program will share their talents during recitals at 5 and 7 p.m. Tuesday, December 14, in Holloway Hall Auditorium.
The students range in age from 6 to adult and in ability from beginner to advanced. They perform piano, violin, viola, cello, theatre, guitar and voice works. Selections include Georg Goltermann’s “Rondo from Concerto No. 4, Op. 62”; “Deck the Halls,” arranged by Martha Mier; Shinichi Suzuki’s “Perpetual Motion in D Major”; and Brad Breeck’s “Gravty Falls Theme.”
PRESTO faculty instructors include Drs. Linda Cockey, Matt Michaud, Nan Richerson and William Folger; professional teachers are Martha Mancuso, Mary-Tyler Upshaw, Cheryl Florin, Elijah Fallon and Christopher Sajadi; and SU student teacher Geneque Garrison.
Sponsored by the Charles R. and Martha N. Fulton School of Liberal Arts, admission is free and the public is invited.
All attendees at ¾ÅÐãÖ±²¥ indoor events are required to wear a mask, regardless of vaccination status. Attendees may be asked to leave an event for non-compliance.
All attendees must complete an online COVID-19 screening on the day of their visit, prior to coming to the SU campus.
