SU’s PACE Offers Two-Day Class on Campaigning

PACESALISBURY, MD---¾ÅÐãÖ±²¥ Institute for Public Affairs and Civic Engagement offers a two-day class for those interested in running for office 5:30-8:15 p.m. Wednesday-Thursday, October 20-21 in The Commons Building’s Worcester Room.

The candidate school offers a top-to-bottom campaign training workshop for anyone considering a run for public office. The training takes a local approach to running for office, featuring politicians and elected officials from ¾ÅÐãÖ±²¥ and the Wicomico County region.

The course is free and the public is invited. Registration is available at bit.ly/candidateschool.

All attendees at ¾ÅÐãÖ±²¥ indoor events are required to wear a mask, regardless of vaccination status. Attendees may be asked to leave an event for non-compliance.

All attendees must complete an online COVID-19 screening on the day of their visit, prior to coming to the SU campus.

Those planning to park on campus must register in advance for a free parking pass .
