SU Faculty Join American Spiritual Ensemble February 29
SALISBURY, MD---Making its sixth appearance on the Eastern Shore, the American Spiritual Ensemble (ASE) will be joined by ¾ÅÐãÖ±²¥ faculty during its performance 7:30 p.m. Saturday, February 29, at Asbury United Methodist Church, 1401 Camden Ave.
Known for its rousing and deeply heartfelt renditions, choral, solo spirituals and Broadway numbers, the ensemble is celebrating its 25th anniversary with this tour.
Faculty soloists Dr. John Wesley Wright, Jennifer Hope Wills and William Willis, along with organists Michael Stefanek and Veronica Tomanek, join local members of the Asbury United Methodist and St. Alban’s Episcopal church choirs, and chamber orchestra with ASE for a collaborative performance of the Duruflé Requiem.
