SALISBURY, MD---¾ÅÐãÖ±²¥ earned the Top-Scoring Rookie School Award at this year’s Western States Collegiate Sales Competition at California State University, Chico.

SU placed highest among five rookie teams. ¾ÅÐãÖ±²¥ also finished second in the overall competition, vying against students from Baylor University, the University of Missouri and the University of San Diego, among others.

¾ÅÐãÖ±²¥ team members included senior marketing major Bailey Graf of Forest Hill, MD; senior marketing major Josie Johnston of Cambridge, MD; and senior finance and marketing major Cassandra Ullrich of Camp Hill, PA. They were coached by Judi Billups of the Management and Marketing Department.

All are enrolled in SU’s Mid-Atlantic Sales and Marketing Institute (MASMI), recently named among the Sales Education Foundation’s 2017 “Top Universities for Professional Sales Education.” Earlier this year, the MASMI also became a full member of the national University Sales Center Alliance.
