18th SU Variety Show is April 20-21

SALISBURY, MD---From bands to batons, the 18th annual ¾ÅÐãÖ±²¥ Variety Show features entertainers from throughout SU and the community at large.

This year’s show is 7:30 p.m. Friday-Saturday, April 20-21, in Holloway Hall Auditorium.

“In all of the years of the shows, we truly have the biggest variety of acts ever,” said organizer Tony Broadbent. Those acts include everything from a tap dancing and baton twirling to three bands and two gospel acts. SU organizations, including the Dance Company and Step Squad, also add their talents to the mix.

Two slots during the show are reserved for members of the ¾ÅÐãÖ±²¥ community, while two more are reserved for SU graduates. The SU Jazz Brazz Big Band, directed by Dr. Jerry Tabor, is this year’s house band.

Produced by the SU E-Crew, admission is $5, and the public is invited. SU ID holders receive one free ticket. For more information call 410-548-4597 or visit the SU web site at www.salisbury.edu.
