Step Up to Lead

Management Minor

Are you the person who gets things done? Step up to a higher class of management at ¾ÅÐãÖ±²¥. When you study management at SU, you’ll learn how to hone your organizational and leadership skills, and you will be ready to take care of business when you graduate.

Why Choose an Management Minor at SU?

At SU, our students gain experiential learning on real business management projects. Our students participate in business management and leadership simulations, and have the option of a variety of study abroad programs. As a student, you can work with organizations in the community to practice what you learned in the classroom. Through an Applied Business Learning Experience (ABLE) internship, you can gain on-the-job experience and discover how your talents, personality and approach to work will play an important role in your professional development.

What’s more, at SU, you can graduate with not just a management degree, but your very own business. SU is home to one of the oldest student entrepreneurship competitions in the country, and we have a history of helping students implement their business plans and make their dreams a reality. The Management Department conducts competitions each year, and thousands of dollars in prizes are available to students who demonstrate their superior business skills.

With a diverse selection of electives within our Franklin P. Perdue School of Business, you can focus on entrepreneurship and small business administration, production/operations, human resources and more.

For a more in-depth experience, SU also offers a management major. [link to management major program finder page]
