Mike joined the Perdue School of Business in 2023 with 18 years of experience in tech-based economic development and defense-industry applied R&D activities, including 5 years leading international technology projects in Europe, Africa, and Asia. He also has 5 years of academic experience as a faculty member teaching entrepreneurship, international business, and management topics. He founded a business incubation program focused on supporting under-resourced entrepreneurs in Northeastern Pennsylvania that included a ghost kitchen, makerspace, and microloan program. He also set up a student-run marketing company to integrate experiential learning into classroom experiences by connecting faculty members with startup companies needing marketing services.
